Nestled to the west is the district of Potrerillos, where you’ll find the Potrerillos Dam, endowed with great beauty. In the town of the same name, there are several mountain villages (Las Chacritas, El Carmelo, Las Carditas, El Salto, Manantiales, Villa de San Jorge, Las Vegas, Piedras Blancas, Vallecitos, and Los Zorzales), all very picturesque, with weekend houses, campgrounds, places for hiking, and rock climbing, all located in the vicinity of the Cordón del Plata.
