For many, 60 years is a lifetime, but for Chandon, it's just the beginning. The company has a history of pioneering acts and achievements that have defined its essence since its establishment at the base of the Andes Mountains in 1959. Bubbles are at the core of this company and have been their focus since their inception, with a presence in countries around the world. These are years of learning, knowledge, and hard work, all executed with wisdom and passion to create Chandon. Specialists in bubbles, Chandon was born to make them and that is their purpose.

In 1960, Moët & Chandon established its first subsidiary outside of France in Mendoza, marking the first investment by a French winery in Latin America. With over 36 years of experience in the production of sparkling wines, Moët & Chandon gave birth to Terrazas de Los Andes. The company aims to offer high-quality wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the land. This is achieved by carefully selecting the best plots that allow the company to highlight the aroma of each grape variety. To do this, they have identified 8 "micro-terroirs" which contribute to a more diverse expression of the wine. The first two wines released in 1999 were the Reserva Malbec and the Gran Malbec (later renamed Single Vineyard in 2010).
