Villavicencio Natural area

5 Hours

Tour description

Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Villavicencio and its mineral springs.

Leaving the city of Mendoza, we will take the old route to Chile, a road steeped in history, as it was here that San Martín and his Army of the Andes passed during the liberation campaign. Then, we will head towards Provincial Route No. 52, where we can see the Canota Monument and an impressive view of the Mendoza foothills.

We will reach the Vaquerías outpost, an old stopping point for cowboys and muleteers, and today the location of the first section of Rangers of the Villavicencio Natural Reserve, created in the year 2000. Guided by specialized guides, we will come into contact with this delicate ecological balance, which covers an area of 70,000 hectares.

Afterward, we will continue along the old international road and travel part of the Caracoles road, named for its many curves. Finally, after taking photos of the Villavicencio ravine from the height, we will visit the historic grounds of the Hotel Villavicencio and its gardens.
